Hi – I’ve been teaching individual music lessons since 1992. During this time I have also performed with string quartets, orchestras, chamber ensembles, and pop music groups – where I gained experience with the electric viola and violin, using improvisation, and playing various styles like folk, rock, country, latin jazz, and salsa dance music.
With intentional practice, we identify our actions and grow the abilities we want to grow. As a teacher, it’s important to help students use effective practice for developing their musicianship and performance in whatever setting they may have: school orchestra, youth symphony, community music group, alternative rock band, or just playing for personal enjoyment.
